Meet Antonette

As far back as I can remember, I watched my mother’s daily ritual. Foundation, powders, lips. I would sit my sister down for her “makeup,” and pretend with crayons and pencils. In school, I was fascinated by peers that could sketch a face by memory, or paint a gorgeous landscape. I had the knack and the interest, and studied in advanced art courses, but thought pursuing a career in art was not feasible.

Fast forward to marrying my incredible husband, Chad. After hiring an artist for my wedding, I recognized that there is a reality that I could share my knowledge and appreciation for art, as well as makeup, with others. I was encouraged by my husband and friends in the beauty industry to give makeup artistry a shot.

Five years and hundreds of weddings later, I am proud to become the owner/operator of Antonette Medved Makeup Co, a limited liability company collectively made up of myself, among other talented artists that understand the magnitude of your special days.
